(G) I LOVE My Punto Do You?

Yeah, and I love it when you put your foot down at 80mph! (Private road of course) My old Active used to feel like it was dying at that speed, but the JTD just feels like it can go on forever

If you hadn't guessed, I LOVE my Punto! Roll on remap!

My 16v 85ELX was a gem; the engine and steering were wonderful. And how I miss the touches like the left-foot footrest, the bootlight and watching the rev counter needle spin easily to over 5,500 rpm.

I now have a bottom of the range 1.2 8v which runs out of steem at about 70 and has awful steering (and a girlie button - aaaargh!!) It's best feature is the DAB radio (Radio5 live football is terrific) which I put in to replace the archaic standard radio cassette.

I'm saving up hard to get something better, with a proper engine.

when i put an elx wiring loom into my s model it added things like a boot light and a digital clock etc, I love the boot light!! its one of the best mod's ever for a mk1

Got the derv back today, going like a rocket.

Yep, happy with the car again, can't think why I would want to replace it!!

I've got a remap booked now, but I'm going to keep it as a surprise Nobody will know until they see the huge grin slapped across my face All I will say is that it is within the next month

18 psi of boost with 160 odd horse's to whoop pretty much everything on the road..

lol! he's leave you in the rain, 0-60 in little over 2 seconds. not many cars will match that. he'd be at 100mph before you'd reach 50mph

And if he tried to go around a corner at that speed in the rain he'd leave the road

If he manages to stay on a bike in decent wet weather he deserves a medal, my cousin has a gsx-r and thats near enuff impossible to get full throttle in the dry, let alone the wet.

Plus if i wanted to keep up with a bike, i would have bought a bike, i didnt and just wanted to have the king of the hot hatches.

Yeah but he'll beat him because he can drive without having to get changed into leathers, golves, helmet etc...
