(G) PUNTO MK1 Full Service Tuning

Hello all,
I'm new, also sorry for the bad English.
First of all I'd like to say that I have learned a great deal about Punto from this forum and got to like them so ...

I just bought a punto 98 1.2 16V which needs servicing;
so here are my dillemas:

01. I need to change the suspension and would like to keep the same hight and stiffnes as original parts, but would like to get more durable parts.
(my country has the worst roads )
Is it possible to use sport parts like eibach koni etc. and keep the same hight and stiffnes as the orginal so I don't trash the car.

02. Also I will need a new clutch set since the car is getting jerky on starts...
Same goes here I would like to get the best possible parts here so I don't have to change them too often.
Are there any variations, what are the price durability ratio on original and sport parts, what are the differences in driving?
Which would You reccomend original / sport - wich manufacturer model ?

03. Braking pads front and rear drums replacements ...
- Which ones would You recommend ( I like late brakings...)
Maybe I should put self wenting ones... or not?
Which manufacturer for sport parts for fronts and back ones.
- Also is it possible to put discs on the rear end if I already have drums ???
