checking boost? what?!

hi ive been told by some good people on here when im test driving the turbo to check what boost its running as they run 1.2 bar as standard? but how do i check this? does it show u on ther dash? i may sound stupid but please help! cheers people!

If your on about the mk1 GT Turbo then yes it has a boost pressure guage on the dash.

its got a turbo gauge on the dash.make sure wen u boot it,it doesnt go up into the red or its overboosting and may naker the turbo
