I WANT TO CHANGE THE FRONT SEATS OF MY 1997 FIAT PUNTO GT MK3 TO COBRA DAYTONA RECLINERS BUT I AM WORRIED THAT THE HEIGHT OF THE COBRA SEATS WILL BE HIGHER THAN THE ORIGINAL SEAT.WITH THE ORIGINAL SEAT SAT AT ITS HIGHEST SETTING I CAN JUST ABOUT COMFORTABLY DRIVE THE CAR.IM 6FT 1" AND KNOW THAT THE MAJORITY OF REPLACEMENT SEATS IN THAT PRICE RANGE DONT HAVE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT.I WAS WONDERING IF ANYBODY OUT THERE COULD TELL ME IF THEY HAVE FITTED SUCH SEATS TO A PUNTO OR COULD TELL ME IF MOST REPLACEMENT SEATS ARE USALLY LOWER THAN ORIGINALS.I DONT FANCY LAYING OUT £700 IF MY HEAD TOUCHES THE ROOF!

i would have said you sit lower in the car so your head will have bags of room!

Im 6'2" and used to drive with the chair in the highest position because I liked to see the bonnet. Best thing to do is slowly lower it over a month so you are used to driving lower down. I got sick of knocking my head on the roof. If you are too low down you could alway make up some spacers quite easily to boost the seat.
