Angry Ah for fog sake...!

Anyone else have foggy windows, and unfortunately its not due to a bit of hows your father in the back seat - its seems to be constantly when I am driving now!!! Probably something to do with the cold weather... Someone mentioned it could be a filter in the air vent... but not sure... Any tips or tricks???

Cheers!

There is like a slidy thing underneath the controls for the blower if it's to the left then it's on recycle if it's to the right then it's not

Re: Ah for fog sake...!

Cheers Dan - yep had a look and turns out I forgot that I had ARS installed in the car - Air Recycling System ... and guess what it was activated - so just flicked the switch... didnt seem to fog up last night but have to wait now for a nice bit of rain for the full test.

Re: Ah for fog sake...!

Yeah my car does it. I think its a Punto thing. My old instructor had two Puntos and they both kept doing that. Even done it to me during my test shat me up a bit lol when I'm trying to reverse round corner. Somehow that was the best RRC I ever done

Re: Ah for fog sake...!

it is usually just the recycling switch. I only use it when following any ford TD (the older TD not TDCi) or tractor, or pass near a farm, as it just stinks. But often forget to put it back, and then battle with fogged up windows. Fresh air always sorts it. I have found the blower in the punto is one of the best of any car, and the heater controls I think are possibly the best feature of the Mk1 punto, anyone else agree?? Certainly feels the best built bit of kit in a punto!!

yes they do have a pollen filter, and mine is original!! And no it doesn't smell in anyway.
