Yeah you should try one, I drove 7 HGT's before buying the Sporting, now I know that the HGT is a great car but I couldn't find one without a faulty variator or a dodgy gearbox.
I really like the 6 speed box on the sporting.

That Angel tuning tune up is very tempting.

Re: My New Punto Sporting

Well I had a BMC CDA before the Pipercross and I noticed yet another gain from the pipercross and a much sportier "roar" ill see if I can capture it with my phone microphone lol. Depends alot on the engine though I guess. As for the pipe it came with the kit for the Citroen C2! I even got it half price £40. almost a perfect fit except I had to duck tape the Breather pipe inlet on the hose. Ive still got the BMC stickers on my car though hehe.

Re: My New Punto Sporting

Unlikely. Theyre all most likely to be in Skodas and therefore good drivers

Re: My New Punto Sporting

Very tastey motor dude, I love the colour and it sits nice with the Koni.

I was looking at a sporting as my first cr but at the time I couldnt afford one and when it came to getting my new car I wanted something brand new so I wouldnt have to worry about repair bills for a while.

How much did it cost?

Do you find yourself forever changing gear due to have a 6spd box? (just something Bob said about his Stilo)

What did you mean about the suspension and only having a reasonable drop because it is still under warrenty?

Thanks, it cost me £5000.
The 6 speed box is great, I change gear a lot anyway so I don't mind, 3rds good for about 75mph

The previous owner paid for the Koni's and he did'nt have it lowered to much because of what Fiat advised with the warranty.

Re: My New Punto Sporting

Cool mate

You got yourself a bargain there mate

75mph in 3rd would be nice, Thats the only thing I miss about the Clio was its pull in 3rd gear but then again I havent really opened the Punto up yet

Only thing thats pissing me off about the Punto is that big block on the back of the accelerator pedal, it means Im physically flooring it a lot of the time LOL
