| GT Brakes on 90 Punto Hi I have bought a 1.6 punto a month ago and i have a problem with my brakes... My brakes are not vent disc, and the one i am driving with now is unequal and it is very annoying. I have therefore thougt about takeing the brakes from a Punto GT... Do anyone know if they will fit on my 1.6... Hope some will help me.... Thanks Simon Pedersen Denmark

| They should so, I believe they are exactly the same as the sporting. Your best bet is to get some new third party discs like Red Dot or Brembo. www.puntoforum.co.uk Evil-Punto AKA Evilution.

| Hi there I have just seen on http://www.fastfiat.com/shop.htm, and it looks like it is the same disc too both GT and 90... But i wonder why my disc isīn vent.... But i think i will try to get my hands on a set off calipers to the GT... Thanks... ;) What is the mods off your Punto??? Simon Pedersen Denmark

| vented Gt discs fit on both my sportings! (1.6 P reg & 1.2 16v T reg) there are two dif types of calipers found on later 1.6>s depending where it was made! i have a pair of each type on my cars and found Vented discs fit both ! :p A girl phoned me the other day and said, 'come on over; nobody's home." I went over. Nobody was home.

| Not sure if GT breaks will fit, but I used to have a GT and the brakes were duff! Might be an idea to look at Brembo / Red Dot if you want some decent retardation. Here come da judge...

| Frolund! You live in Denmark, right!? have you heard about www.widik.se They sell parts for a quite good price, and there you can compare the different numbers and see if the GT brakes would fit (Appearently they do, and my German book also says that, but take a look if you wnat to!) Punto GT - The car don't move.... But I'll fix it ;)
