| Hi I have this problem which was identified by the Fiat in Oldbury (West Midlands) where they say I have some "play in my steering shaft" and quite noticebly I can feel the steering go sideways and when I shift in to city mode, it feels proper weird. Does that mean I need a complete new steering shaft (£300+) or just the rod which costs around (£20) The car slips to the right cud that mean the rod needs replacing? I hope so. If anyone knows any good cheap places i can get this done in Birmingham Please give me a shout. Much help appreciated. Imti

| Thanks Because I had a look at the prices for a whole steering rack and the money is extoritionate. But I do want to get my Fiat Sporting fixed, so hopefully the rod just needs changing and not the entire item. Well fingers crossed anyway
