Hi People!

Hi people.

Just joined the forum. I have a Fiat Punto 1.2 ELX (oh the power ) Its standard at the moment, apart from some door sills and gear nob (Abarth I think, came with it when I bought it) and the manufacturer alloys. Want to get a CD player for it too soon.

Seems a cool forum, heres a picture of the beast

Kurt

Thanks mate, thats why I got the car - to keep it clean over winter

I think I need some better quality tyres for the car though. They have plenty of tread but dont seem to grip all that well. I not always heavy footed but in the wet when I pull out of junctions the front wheels seem to spin fairly often. I know theres less grip in the wet, but Im quite concerned as its only a 1.2 and I werent being careless with the clutch/throttle.

The tyres are Continental ContiEco. They have "Safes Fuel, Reduces CO2" on the side of the tyre Sounds like they are trying more to save the enviroment than provide grip The previous owner was a middle aged woman so I dunno

Can anyone recommend good tyres?

Thanks, Kurt

Re: Hi People!

What size tyres do you have on atm? 165/70 14s?

I would recommend Toyo T1-S's but i dont think they make one in the right size.

But these have been getting good reviews:
