HI, this is my first post, took me a while to navigate but managed to find my way around

I have a lovely blue 2004 fiat Palio 1.2 and recently had the head gasket changed however after a few weeks i found it still to have a oil leak??

After some inspection i noticed the leak seems to be coming from the camshaft seal. I was just wondering if changing the camshaft seal would effect the timing.

is it just a matter of replacing the seal or would i need to redo the motor timing.

Thanks again

Kurt

which end of the head?
If its at the end with the coil packs then you just take the coil pack holder off and it has an o-ring on it that you replace then just put it back. The other end, belt end, is more involved as you have to take the cam pulley off and thus the timing belt.. Its really hard to see this seal is leaking with pulley on so i'm guessing you mean coil pack end. this is the seal for that end - http://www.eurocarcare.net/gaskets-seals/14463980.html
Are you certain its not just leaking from the rocker cover gasket, its pretty common as people either forget to use a small blob of instant gasket in the corners or they over tighten the bolts that hold the cover down (or both).
