Has anyone ever had bespoke F.I.R.E. Engine parts made?
If so, where and what sort of money were they?
I had a lovely billet flywheel made for my 75 engine 8 yrs ago and they did it for about £220.
Has anyone made an accurate CAD file of the parts or know the exact dimensions?
The only Wössner rods and piston sets I can find are for the Punto GT.
Any help would be great!

fair enough... well most of the websites i have looked on only seem to sell decomp pistons for the 8v FIRE which will be of little use really. If i see anything while window shopping though i will let you know.
I'm sure there will be something out there somewhere.. Italian or Polish websites would be a good start me thinks.

Lol. It's a lot of money to spend on a 176 but it's actually fairly reasonable if you consider the going rate for what you're buying.
A 4130 billet crank for a Duratec is £2500 plus the VAT!
Wössner forged pistons and H-beam rods for a Punto GT are £900.
Imagine a 176 wacked up to 12:1! [emoji23]

he can spend his money how he wants... modding cars has never been and never will be sensible from a financial point of view but thats not why we do it, we do it cause its what we want and are happy to spend on it..

But yes mate, any crank from any of the fires will fit in any of the fire blocks. if its for a 1108 it will slot in your seicento perfectly. The differences in the FIRE engines is all bore and stroke (and thus block height also). Anything for a 1108cc 8v will be fine.

I guess then you just would need to find some forged pistons that are not for lower CR and turbos... must be some!!

Lol. Flisko, would you want the 10 cars you bought for £2.5k?!
I'm not definitely buying them, just putting it out there.
Need to find a 176a8 engine before I can do anything!

I've bought several cars for less than €100, last one was a very gutsy 98 Punto for €90, cracking engine which is now going to a new home, had new exhaust, electric windows and loads of useful parts. These are the cars to buy. A few of us are toying with the idea of a round Ireland trip for charity in a €100 car, Will be a Fiat of course since the purists here don't like them hence they are dirt cheap!
