Blog Entries: 2 Thanks: 18 Trader Rating: (1) | Hello! After buying a Ripspeed gear knob from work, i spent ages... and i mean ages working out how to fit it, advice from others, was simply "pull it", which made sence but at the time was easier said than done.. so i spent about 20 mins pulling on this gearstick and eventually gave up... that night i looked at my half price budget ripspeed gear knob and thought... i want a momo one... so i wondered in to Halfords, and picked up a sexy momo one (leather and chrome...mmm) so after spending more hours pulling and tugging on the fegging gear stick i thought the only way it wouild budge is if i used the old fasioned way... i got a screw driver and PRODDED LIKE THERE WAS NO TOMMORROW! I dont know what i did, but it came off. so to cut a long story... a little bit shorter, i eventually fitted the gear knob. Extreamly satisfied with the look it gave my car, i went back in the house and had a cupper... 9.00 next morning i go to reverse out of my drive only to find that in my haste, i didn't read the packaging, it said "For use on cars WITHOUT pull up reverse" ****! so i've hacked away at the little plasic bit and now it reverses... My problem is i now have this bit under my gear knob that looks... well, crap... i'll take a photo in the morning and post it up, in the meantime has anyone got anyideas how i could cover it up... ta ta wen | ||
