Hi!

Yesterday I was driving thru my street to home after I dropped off some friends. Suddenly my steering wheel was turning 90 degrees with the car still going in a straight line. I started driving really slow and carefully but unfortunately that did not make things better. It happened pretty fast, I was driving about 25 km/h and the car came to a complete stop and all I heard was the drifting tire noise. I was on the middle of the street so I tried to slowly drive it to the side of the road but that didn't work because the velocity joint got out of place as well. Later I jacked uit the car and this is what i saw :

wow, not seen that before... that happen without even hitting anything even??

i guess no-one is hurt is the main thing That could have been much more catastrophic

is this 85 punto?

I'd be very careful of putting the car back on the road, I'm assuming rust has gotten into the front subframe and substantially weakened it.

This means other parts of the subframe and body could be in bad shape and hiding some nasty secrets
