I managed to get old stock of all the cooling and heater matrix hoses!

1.jpg

New genuine thermostat vs the old chinese one.

2.jpg

3.jpg

4.jpg

Look at these nice letters!

5.jpg

Genuine air bleed hose with a T joiner for the water temp unit!

6.jpg

Then, time to replaced the 2 old Steering hoses!
There is no way to find these anywhere, or a decent replacement.
Used ones are in horrible condition too, as hydraulic fluid eats the rubber over the years.
I got a silicone ones that match 1:1 from TbF Performance (Expensive but worth it).

1 year old one that is not original (I had steering noises since the curves doesn't match the factory settings) vs new silicone:

Second one from the tank to pump:

8.jpg

These hoses fit every 1.4-1.6 GT engine.
I totally recommend.

This is how she looks like in the sunny afternoon,
Only drive it on weekends :D

Found side skirts for her, previews owners removed them over the years:

However, it cannot roll without problems..
It's fiat ;)
The interior fan fuse was melting for more than 1 year, I just replaced the fuse every few months.
When I used to turn on the interior fan, the fuse was hot after 2 min.
I replaced the fuse box and problem was gone.

Any chance you would put up the measurements of those elastic bits so we could make them?

It's been a while and I finally got a DA Polish machine I always wanted to do a full complete detail.
Starting from the original '95 vinyl top which got faded and patched because of 2 holes by the years.
I've cleaned it first with 303 cleaner and used a horsebrush. Didn't use a machine on that one because the stitching are already weak.

I've used this product
"Forever Black top gel"

I'm very happy with the results, altough there are still few marks on the rear left side that are like sticked to the surface. Plus the 2 ugly patches from old fix.

I've then used a new Chemical Guys product:
"Hydroslick" that gives ceramic protection which can be then topped after 2 hours with a glaze layer and then wax.

This is a final result after 1 coat of CG Hydroslick, CG ez creme Glaze + Collinite 915 wax.

Today Iv'e got a new genuine idle control valve sensor.
Also changed the spark plugs after 2 years.
What do you think about the spark plugs condition? The coating on one of them started to peel.

Time to replace a leaked roof piston and give the old oil a flush.
It was dark with black stains.
I used the correct LHM oil which is mineral green.

Time to work on car when in quarinate!

I managed to get this very rare electric window set!
This came only on 1.2 16v 98-99 models.
It came all the way from Germany, harness, mechanism set and the buttons.
This is a nice upgrade, so I don't need to lay back anymore and open the windows in order to open the roof.

Wiring harness:
