(G) 1.6 sporting vs 1.2 16v sporting

has any1 actually raced the two different sporting's
yet and how did they get on.
i hav raced my mates that was just off the lights but still pissed on it in my 1.6 but wanted to no about an actual race cause the 1.2 16v supposed 2 be quicker 0-60.
also got a mate with a vtr also 1.6 8v thats another 1 that supposed to be quicker but gav a better race kept up until i hit 3rd then bye bye vtr.[8D]

I have raced a punto 1.6 8v and a vtr 1.6 8v in my 1.2 16v and blew them off. Depends on the driver i suppose and mods

Well i have both! the 1.242 16v is better in 1st and the 1.6 pulls away better in 3rd,4th&5th.this was when thay were Std!
and VTRs are no bother for eather!

i just hav to ask y do u hav both sporting.
if i was to buy another car it would have to be the bravo hgt cause the sound of the 20valves going mad with a k&n and a full system turns me on. why do u think im with my girlfriend with a hgt ha only jokin if ur readin this.
or that stilo arbarth damn that must be quick 2.2 24v s**t that must sound mad aswel.
which do u prefer 1.2 or da 1.6

My 1.6 8v Sporting! (thats y my 1.2 16v is still bog std!)
its pos to get more power out the 1.6!
feels like it handles batter with the weight over the front wheels!
you also dont need to rev it as hard to make the car move!

Got the 16v as it was cheap from my mum (its mint!)

like the sound of the 20v to! looking for a Coupe turb come spring!
