Newbie with questions....

Hello, and thanks for reading....

First of all, forgive my english... i'm not too good at it...

I have an Astral Blue Mk2 1.2 16v, and some doubts about it... I'm from Spain and here there aren't many puntos, people tend to question te quality of Fiat cars... Mine has a year now and no problem to date. In that time i've seen only ONE hgt.... I have too much questions for ask them all in one time, but first of all i want to know if there is any problem with my car cos i've read about sportings running at 195 kmh... Isn't the sporting engine the same of my car? Mine normally reaches 170 kmh but that's all... Gear ratios of sporting are different? The car comes with 165/70TR14 Continental EcoContact from factory... no alloys.... I've heard that these tires are crap... maybe this has something to do with the lack of speed of my car? I'm thinking on thrash that ones and buy alloys, what do you recommend? (i'm seeking for performance more than the looks)

It's a pity cos i like the car a lot, and here, for most people, Fiat=crap... that includes the people working at the car centers... It didn't help when i bought the car (they didn't informed me about any extras for the car, and there's not much of a variety to choose, no versions like Active sport or that) and it doesn't help if you seek for info....

thanks to all again ;)

it should tell you in your hand book what the ratios are! 1.2 16v prob will not do more than 175Kmh! most of the italians who race them go for 15"-16" :)
Pirelli P5000 Dragos on 16" thats what i use on my Mk1 as thay are Grip well but are predictable ! (good in the wet to!):p
