1108 & 1242 8v SPI
inlet 0.4 ± 0.05mm
exhaust 0.5 ± 0.05mm

1242 8v MPI & 16v
inlet 0.4 ± 0.05mm
exhaust 0.45 ± 0.05mm

Hi everyone I'm driving a2006 palio Ii Go 1.2 I need to know what is the valve clearance on it is it also inlet 0.4 ± 0.05mm
exhaust 0.45 ± 0.05mm we recently redone the engin but I think the engineering didn't replace the shims, currently the are inlet 0.10 and Exh 0.15 with that car is misfiring and have no power

I think they will be correct, I've not got the correct reference material for that exact car though, its not new enough to have the variable cam timing stuff so should be the same.

Figures I posted were taken from the mk1 punto haynes manual, pretty sure a 2006 1.2 palio just had the same engine as a mk1 punto 75 and thus would be the same as i gave - but palio is rare car in the UK so no expert on them.
