Hi Folks - a newbie here.
My wife's beloved Selecta Punto Mk1 (1999) is due for its CVT oil and filter to be changed - I can find a source for the oil, but cannot find a source for the gearbox oil filter - Fiat tell me they are no longer made or available from them - so I'm looking for new-old-stock or a pattern part - any suggestions? or do we keep running it until it goes bang and then throw it away?

see your ad..!!;)

many thanks for the info - regrettably I cannot find a listing for the oil filter - but did see a suggestion on the members thread you suggested to clean it in an ultrasonic bath - hopefully my local garage will have one and be prepared to clean it, BUT I cannot find a gasket either so might have to go with option 'B' and run it until it goes bang (divorce will probably follow soon after)...
Do you happen to know which country the majority of Selectas were sold ? - my plan would be to try to track the parts there (if it is Italy, then maybe I can avoid divorce by planning a trip to 'Save The Punto' )
