| normal temp gauge reading? punto 60sx t-reg ~ 58k miles hi having not really noticed before, i was wondering what a 'normal' reading on the dashboard's temperature gauge would be. only this morning was a little cold, and i did about a 1.5 mile trip and the needle had crept up to nearly halfway. i've had some overheating issues recently, i'm just hoping no problems are on the horizon. all this head gasket talk has got me a little paranoid! ta

| Re: normal temp gauge reading? i got the 60s on a V plate, goes up to half way in traffiic and fan kicks in so sounds normal, you can hear it kick in. if it doesn't then you can start fault finding!
