Hi just got my 1.2 and the lad said he just put on a recond alternator but I noticed there was only half a belt left on the pulleys so I replaced it and when the car is running it's pushing the belt off and tearing it so iv replaced it three times still pushes the belts off any ideas

If the alternator was changed then it sounds like it could be the wrong alternator. Do the pulleys line up so the belt can go straight to the next pulley?
