flapping noise on front drivers side of car

hello to anyone that has any suggestions. recently I have noticed a flapping noise from the front-right hand side of my punto 1.2 8v car. I can only hear it when the car is moving with window down. I have checked the engine and nothing looks loose also checked the wheel hub and thats seem fine.. The flapping sound insreases as I speed up. Any comments would be appriciated. thank you ;-(

Possible that it may be the sheilding for the brake disc catching the disc itself. Bend it back slightly

1. Yes it could be the wheel arch liner. Not always loose but behindit there is a small flap of plastic can make this noise, usually at speed though.
2. Your wheel trim is worn and rattling on the wheel nuts...

have you checked your mud flaps?
nd have you checked underneath to see if you got anything caught on your exhaust eg. plastic bag.

Hi mate, its almost certainly going to be the wheel bearing on the drivers side front of rear wheel, have it checked out as this is not expensive to fix

Sensible mods go far

Hi everyone thank you for your quick and informative responses. I noise has no gone. Me and a friend removed the wheel had a look around could find anything wrong. Put the wheel back on and the noise has now disappeared. One of those things hey. :-)
