Not sure what could be causing a considerable rise in exhaust noise on lift off.
its really bad at higher speeds say in 4th coming down from 100 to 70 or 80 but you can still hear it at town speeds-definitely exhaust not induction. very annoying every time you come off the throttle.
could a burnt valve cause this ? most of the exhaust system is new bar the
middle silencer. car doesnt seem to have that really strong top end shove like it used to so just thinking maybe the centre box baffles have seen better days and not sure how they behave when back pressure changes on lift off.
i may end up swapping the entire system from my donor car as that is quiet all the time - this could narrow down that ive definitely got some fault with part of my own system but dont want to pay for a centre box unless necessary.
