alloys for mk2 punto

i just got a new mk2 punto, i'm goin to put some 17' alloys on it, buh i dont really know where to start looking or how to go about doin it. will i need to make any other alterations to the car to fit 17's? ne1 got any ideas of what alloys look sweet on this car (black 3dr active)? any other helpful info/recommendations welcome. cheers
