Do mk2 and 2B use the same chassis?

As title do mk2 and 2B use the same chassis eg: would mk2 lowering springs / suspention kit for a mk2 work on an mk2b??? Cause if not where the hell do i get them from for the 2b? Thanks in advace for your help

i would imagine they both share the same floorpan, there are just a few tweeks to the newer punto, i am sure someone could verify this

doesnt the mk2b sit slightly higher than the mk2 - the parts might well be interchangeable, but the quoted drops would be different.

on www.motorsportworld.co.uk , they list the suspension as the same 99>

It is the same chassis, etc. It was a cosmetic facelift only.

Thanks for the help all just wanted to be sure iykwim how difficult would it be to fit a suspention kit? shocks and springs ? soo many questions soo little time
