(T) punto mk1- what problems at 60k miles?? please look!!

right my sisters punto nearly has 60k miles, is there anything that goes wrong about this milage? i only ask because she said when some thing quite major goes wrong she will give me her car also its never serviced but had its cambelt changed about a 5k miles ago. so what usually goes wrong on the mk1 punto at about 60k miles? thanks, beau.

its a selecta so clutch might go, the £600 but you can convert it to manual, never had a service do oil change now atleast

Mines a 55s, just had it serviced today, heres a list of probs:

The car is 55.5k

Rear right brake drum needs replacing,
Radiator is practically gone,
Engine leaks oil like hell.

Fixed:

Got a new rear right brake drum (£80)
Got the radiator sealed of leaks so its fine now.
Oil problem fixed too

Guy charged me £100 + 80 for the brake drum + 20 for installing it) 200 quid total for full servicing + fixing all probs.

let your sister run it into the ground. if she gave it to you it will only sit outside your house for two years before you can drive, and be wrecked by all the local yobs.

yeah sorry my bad, he did both.

he should have fitted new shoes aswell why he had the drums off

its ok if she gives it to me, were moving very soon, and were only moving to a house with a garage and a driveway. i fill up the oil water etc but thats it, and also she cant open her bonnet anymore because the wire what opens it has snapped, i have had a look and i cant open it.

do a search, ive put pics up how to open it some where
