Re: boost guages

you should be able to find the connection in the engine bay for the standard dump valve in one of the vacuum pipes in the inlet manifold. on your boost gauge 0 is atmospheric pressure nd when its off boost it will sit at a - number showing the vacuum

Re: boost guages

rite was brave enuf to see how the dials came out that was easy then the fun began lol

the pipe from the back of the clocks came off really easy compared to what people on here have said a slight tug came off

cut it in half to put the T connector on (i know i have to leave a dial on now tho)

went to put the shorter end of the vaccume pipe onto no problems.....

the other side wouldnt go on so i had 2 warm it up using a ciggerette lighter burning ma sen in the process got it on i was well im pressed so decided to put dials back in then i hit a problem

where do i put the pipe tried takin speaker out no hole tried to drill 1 cant get the angel in the end it in now running down the back of the clocks under the coin holder up the side of the dash driver side into the back of the guage

got to admit might not be tidy yet till i get some tube holders of some sort but... it sits at 20 vaccumme i think and when i boot it in 3/4 it goes upto about 20psi wasnt doing too much tho coz of insurance was meerly a drive to test it worked on a safe unlit lonely nat speed road

if required i will do a how to guide let me know what u think

the dial came with 3 wires i have only used 2 due to my no nowledge of fiat electrical the wires are connected as follows.... earth is to the stereo earth and on is to the remote wire which only runs when the ignition is on.
