I always wondered what it was...

When we bought the punto it was immediately apparent that it had some weird quirks. It has them to this day.

The main one and the most annoying is the 'shunt' that happens when you come of the throttle in the lower gears at mid to low engine speeds. The car jerks as if the engine is loose. I thought that maybe an engine mounting had gone but they all seem fine.

Fuel injection glitch/snatchiness perhaps. the sme thing happens on my Hayabusa to a much lesser extent when closing the throttle at very low speeds and I know that is down to the FI.

Could this be the same. Must the Punto have this little bout of hiccups when we shut off or is there a cure?

Bless it!
