| Hi I just bought a Sony Ericsson HCB-300 and i need to connect it to the battery from the cabin. does anyone know where i can take the cable to pass it through to the engine bay? I've had a good look but can't see anywhere obvious. Also would anyone know how to connect a cable to the ignition? I know I should get it done professionally, but funds etc don't really allow. And i'm normally quite good with these things... Cheers!

| Re: Battery to interior for hands free. i don't know what you mean by later punto 188? It's a mk2 from 2000, so one of the first mk2's. I'll go and have a dig for an orange wire! Cheers

| Re: Battery to interior for hands free. Or failing that, in the passenger footwell, there is a large 2" (?) diameter grommit, perfect position for battery. Just pull down the carpet and voila.
