a visit to angel tuning for a remap gets you about 8bhp and 8lbs of torque costs £150 i believe. this is the link http://www.angeltuning.co.uk/default.asp

a few people on her ehave had it done i beilve im sure they would reccomend it. they will also for £300 do remap and fit cda air induction kit for better gains and looks the part lol.

Re: 1.2 sporting engine mods... advice needed!

I'm near Chelmsford in Essex. It says an ECU remap is £150 and also like 'thefishdude' says they do an ECU remap and CDA induction kit for £300. Have you had this done fishdude or anyone else and would you recommend that or just go for the remap? ?

I recon you'll end up regreting not getting the filter at the same time cause I would assume you would need to map it again to get the best out of the filter!

Save up!

Re: 1.2 sporting engine mods... advice needed!

Yeah i'd be interested to see what power you have with just a CDA + Re-map.

My guess would be around the 85bhp mark. There was a guy on Mk2 who had his remapped and it made 79bhp!!!

These are figures at the flywheel too.

I believe his graph is posted.
