What do you hate about the mk2 Punto?

Well, for me:

Seemingly big A pillars
That bloody hazzard light switch that always seems to get pushed in when you hit the electric window switch..
Door cards/seats that stain even just by looking at them.
That ****ty god awful fuse cover (right of steering wheel), those little plastic screws never clip in properly.
When you open the window, if it's been raining, you always get a wet shoulder.

What about you?

Still love it though..

The fact that i'm getting a company car in my next job so I can't justify buying one anymore!!!

the same including

anything on the dash i touch i scratch
no easy route for amp power cable
reflection from dash in sunlight is stupidly dangerous
no mark for 30mph on my speedo

lol.. cheap plastic on the dash? My glovebox is scratched to hell.

Never really thought about the 30 line!

the easy scratch outside paint is pissing me off took a draw out of a filing cabnet today it touched the car door now

There were two things that really pissed me off with mine. Rattles from everywhere lol and the CLUTCH

The bl**dy indicator stalk cancelling itself or not wanting to move when I'm turning a corner!! Feels like it's going to break when I use it

The only, and I really mean only, thing that I hate is that as you said seats stain easily, apart from that I love it all.

Lack of Clutch footrest. Backwards step after Mk1

Lack of rear 3/4 waindow. Backwards step from Mk1

Rubbish dashboard materials. Backwards ste... (are you seeing a theme here)

Rubbish gearbox.

Squeeks

Over-firm ride

Stupid electric steering that robs all feel (even when 'girl-mode' is turned off)
Rattles

Rubbish paint that chips if you look at it

1.2 8v is way slower than the old 60S (despite having the same engine with MPi)

Indidcators cancelling mid-manouvre. All Fiats do it, and it is annoying on all of them...

Hideous Mk2.5 face-lift. Guppy fish.

I agree with jtd monkey, the lack of a clutch footrest is quite annoying!

And the indicator clicking noise is way too quiet!

paint that scratched is you breath on it.

steering that rattle and costs fortune to fix

clutches that dont work and need miltuple replacements

one peice front window wiper linkage kits forcing you buy whoel lot not just replacement part.

rattles rattles rattle

some of the worse car ride i have ever epxerienced over bumps.

poor seats

and fact you cant open window a little in rain without the water flying of the front screen round the egde and all down ya arm.

The biggest gripe I have is the brakes. I'm used to them, being long travel and easy to lock up in slightly damp weather (no ABS on my 2000W ELX ), which makes my wife really not like to drive it. Also, she doesn't like the fact her leg hits the sterring column. I rest my leg against it sometimes, but for her it's a pain.

Low gearing. Mine is so low geared I can go down to 20mph in 5th. Still it means it's quick off the line, just runs out of puff sooner.

The usual rattles and squeaks. My nearside rear door needs heat in winter to not creak over bumps. Mind you, I just have the stereo on 12-15 or so and am happy enough.

Gear-knob that sometimes comes off in your hand.

But there's plenty I like about the car, however no longer enough to get another one...

And the indicators (I always wandered when people indicated well before me, If I indicated at the same time as other cars at roundabouts etc... mine will definately go off before I get the my turn.

worst thing is the juddery wipers
