What do you hate about the mk2 Punto?

well not according to wikipedia, nor anywhere else i have read.

I knock my sat nav charger out of the cig lighter all the time with my long legs

me 2

and my legs arent even that long

theres a few things that wind me up about the fiat punto,
- Ripping rear engine/gearbox mounts out
- Blowing bulbs all the time
- lack of clutch foot rest
- Position of the C/D player
- Crap quality dash
- Stained seats
- I have the wind protectors fitted round the windows and the water comes in even worse with them cos it forms into a big drip and when it comes in you know about it lol
- Can never get the rear view mirror right were i want it
- Only one seat pocket on the rear of the front seats (passanger side)
- Rattels from door/parsel shelf ect....
- Crap paint
- The fact that even with the seat pushed farwads you still have to be tiny to get through the gap, and its a chalinge not to trip over the seat belt
- theres more but its late an im tired lol

The amount of chavvy ****e thats available to mod them with!!!

Ive had my MKII punto now for 2 weeks and a day. I dont 'hate' anything about it at all...

...but...

I have to admit that the reflection of the sun on the dashboard is dangerous, something which you have virtually all agreed on...

My clutch judders a bit usually in 2nd gear when i've pulled away from lights or roundabout or whatever...

What I do love tho is...

My wipers are perfect (replaced the day I bought them as the ones on there had a blade to keep them on windscreen..?)

My seats are spotless, I dont smoke and I dont allow food in the car with the little man....

The ride is quiet (last car was a diesel vectra which was way noisier by comparison)...

The pedals for me are fine, I have size 2 feet so thats probably why!...

Dont have trouble with hazard light switch and electric windows switch...

Basically, I'd never owned a fiat before this, and I can honestly say I search for excuses now to get out and drive her... Never tried washing the windscreen with the windows open yet... methinks another drive is in order here... !!

I love her to bits and i dont regret one thing about buying her, and although there seem to be some 'faults or niggles', she is a lovely car... and has moved me over to Fiat in a big way. Mind you having a fella who lives and breathes Fiat has helped a bit

Anyway, you'll all see my punto at Stanford Hall. Shes basic, no alloys yet, but it all costs money and with kids, I do have to prioritise a bit
