(G) What do you hate about the mk2 Punto?

Are you kidding?. Thats the pikey way to do it. Its like fixing a PC with a hammer. The right way to do it would be to strip it down clean with meths and put a thin lining of grease on the seams of the rear cover put a couple of bags of silica gel in there just to be sure and put it back together.

Don't quite know what you mean there. The bumper is not suppose to be fixed tight against the headlight.... its the head lights are mounted to the metal cross beam, so is the bumper..... well at least in my mk2b it is. As for my back light yep there still intack and have all screws (yes I have had them off the car to replace bulbs).

Its not a new car... its nearly 9yrs old.

you have the most basic (second shopping car for the wife) version of the punto why would it need it?. Women don't read them anyway!. Check your fluids etc and your fine.

Its a budget car ffs. They later redesigned the seal so this doesn't happen.

Rest your foot next to the clutch (works for me wearing size 11 combat boots)



Explain s***e?. I know your vocabulary is limited but at least try. The gearbox although a little fragile at times (6 speed) is briliant, its a fast smooth change and perfect ratio's for the engine.



Not it isn't its a 'Sporting' which means the box is optimised for as much of an exciting driving experience as possible. And IMO is perfectly matched for the engine and power.



Your is broken then, nothing rattles in mine. A couple of things used to but I fixed them. Only thing that rattle now are my Cd's etc in my door pockets and glove box!.



Do you have the sporting?, if so I disagree. Also why did you buy the car with an interior that you hate? .



Judging by that comment I take it you got an Active or one of the lower spec models. What do you expect?. Its built with the utmost cost cutting in mind. Should have bought a sporting or change the steering wheel for a sporting one.

Its the linkage to blame not the wipers. Theres a modified linkage that will fix this forever.

5k euro's is cheap. The average new car price in the Uk for cars of this type (small hatchback) is £13,000 my mk2b Punto Sporting (not the cheapest one) was £8450 new.

Thats like saying im going to buy a toaster for £2.50 and then complain when its crap compared to one that costs £20. Get what im saying?. Im not trying to say the Punto is perfect but for the money its a damn good car.

and yes i got a basic one but even the ones in the sporting

the gearbox is low and i dont mean low revs i mean its a long gear stick and it comes out from very low...

and things are difficult to come off with out breaking somethin such as the centre console or steering wheel.

its a cheap lil plastic car which is why i bought it and why i am changing it completely

Ok I didn't misunderstood you. You failed to explain yourself properly. If you don't like anything on the car change the car ffs. if your breaking thigns taking it apart your an idiot IMO.
