| Punto 1.7 D - engine won't stop ?? Strange one this.. I can remove the ignition key on my Punto 1.7 d and the engine keeps going.. All I need to do is touch the throttle and the engine stops ?? Any ideas... must be something to do with the cut off valve i think ? Punto 1.7D

| Re: Punto 1.7 D - engine won't stop ?? I hope that the problem may be with the fuel cut off switch in the diesel pump..... If possible tell me the brand of the Diesel pump so that i can explain the place of the fuel cut off switch.... Regards, Jeyakar.T

 Re: Punto 1.7 D - engine won't stop ?? It stopped ! The neigbours moved out anyway.. It ended up being the cut off valve on the fuel pump. Sorry i took so long to answer .. only 2 and bit years though

OOOPs.. 5 years it is :P Yes i still have the car but its just sprung a leak in the radiator funnily enough. Still going strong apart from that though!
