| Re: mk2 angle eyes instructions and contact. Oh forgot to mention a few things. First of all when cutting lights make sure you do it in a large space and wear goggles and the dremmel does more melting than cutting. Second where he has heat resistand silicone, after looking for 3 weeks for it i found one from halfords called loctite 595 adhesive sealant as it is heat proof just doesn't mention it apart from a little caption at the bottom. Use that for the bulbs and use normal silicone to put the cover back on as that is ok up to 140.c so it is fine for that. Make sure you mesure the bulbs up before you take off the silver covers as the bulbs are the size off the outer ring and don't fit in the middle. as i first thought. Lol. Good job i managed to get it off before it started setting. Also to take off the silver cover around the main light you have to take the indicator cover first which is cliped on by 3 clips at the back. Disconnect the bottom one and you will find the other two will just pop off. (with a little help). If i remember anything else i will add it to this thread.

| Re: mk2 angle eyes instructions and contact. About the silicone heat resistand kit. You need to use a glue or kit that stays highly flexible after drying and is heat resistant. Your headlight is made off different materials and these different materials all have ther own ways to deal with heat. Iff you use a kit that does not stay flexible, the different enlargement due to heat off the different materials will make the rings crack. By using kit or glue thats stays flexible after drying you won't get these problems.

| Re: mk2 angle eyes instructions and contact.
You can wire them to your side lights if you want or to a seperate switch. I have mine wired to the side lights. It comes with 4 bulbs and two conector boxes, which has the basic two wires (ground and live) Excuse the sp its been a long day.

| Re: mk2 angel eyes instructions and contact. Side repeaters are the small lights at the rear of your wings, at the side of the car...indicators are the ones in your headlights/rears. I don't have a mk2, but im sure it must be possible, try a search, but you would need to replace with orange bulbs

| Re: mk2 angel eyes instructions and contact. When the lights are apart the plastic indicator cover clips off. The hardest part is cutting your lights apart. Looks fantastic when it is done tho. See my pics on my post about the angle lights.

| Re: mk2 angel eyes instructions and contact. did you cut them open? because i read in this forum somewhere that you can leave them in an oven on low temperature for a couple of minutes to melt the glue... sounds better then cutting them open to me!
