Just got my 60s R Reg and was wondering whether its possible to upgrade to electric windows and central locking??
If so how much does this cost (roughly) and is it worth it????

cheers

(Im not actually russian!)

if you can fit it all yourself its worth it, otherwise dont bother.
i'd reckon about £100+ for materials alone, and i've based that on second hand parts from a crash damaged punto.

the breakers usually want £25 for each motor etc etc.

i did this to my old uno ages ago, but this was considered an old banger so i got all the parts and wiring for £35

Just fitted central locking on my punto s! easy to fit the kit only cost me £10.25 from some lad on ebay! so really easy to do that.
A mate of mine got an electric window kit, unervesal one, but it is hard to fit on the punto there just aint enough room to fit the equipment, so far i have been ablt to find a punto in a scrap yard but thats my next task to do elecy windows. so far i've given up on having them for a while!

Let me know how the hunt goes

If you can find a scrappy with 2 doors from a higher Punto (either same colour or get them sprayed) you will be most of the way there.
