Exclamation what wheels?

ive got a mk2 sporting and getting it lowered 35mm all round wid apex springs and a peco duplex exhaust system but debating whether to get the standard sporting wheels refurbed and sprayed up in either anthracite or black or just get new wheels(either fiat wheels but bigger or non fiat wheels) any ideas and any pics showing some stuff? seen some fiat wheels which are multispoke but dont know what their called or what part number they are?

Re: what wheels?

no i dont think everyone is getting claws apart from on here, i have only seen one mk2 punto with claws and no mk1s on the roads.

Re: what wheels?

I think you should go for bigger 16/17" non Fiat alloys. Theres loads more choice so you can get the car looking exactly how you want it. Ive seen both the Stilo 5 spoke and Claw alloys on mk2 Puntos.....

Click on my signature ↓↓↓↓ to see a mk2 with 5 spoke 17"

Re: what wheels?

i would go for non fiat alloy wheels but i dont wana use those whobbly bolts, i would rather have a subtle look and some fiat alloys that fit the car rather than have huge rims that **** everything up and dont really fit or suit the car? there are loads of rims i like but all have to use whobbly bolts.

Re: what wheels?

I cant understand why people are put off by wobbly bolts..!! But its your choice.

The Stilo wheels are 17"

Re: what wheels?

its the fact that punto's are 4 by 98mm and the wheels are 4 by 100mm which means they arent really made to fit the punto. mite just get the stilo rims but u got any ideas where u get them from?

Re: what wheels?

But the 4x100 wheels fit perfectly with wobbly bolts. I also never had any problems with mine.

Fiat dealers (Bit expensive) or ebay. Also the Stilo alloys are made for 215/45 tyres I think, which are slightly too big for the Punto- so arch rolling would probably be needed.
