Ultimate Newb Questions =/

Ok. half will laugh.. half will faint by these newb questions =| lol anyway..

How much will these bump the insurance up roughly? (could you price serperately pls =| ty.)

(On a Punto 55 SX)

Alloy Wheels (15") or (16")
Lowering Springs (30-40mm)

Surely the best bet is to phone up your insurance company, and ask them?

Trouble is, every person has different risk assessments, based on age/location/job, so pretty hard to give specific figures, imo.

I declared the 30mm Eibachs and BMC CDA on the Abarth, and paid an extra £27 to Admiral

With CIS you can do any mods (but mot engine mods) and the premium wont increase. Theyre good for new drivers too.

It's impossible to even guess at a figure. Insurance companies are so random...

Try Adrian Flux they brought mine down with all mods from way over £1500 to £540 I know I am a lot older but have only been driving a year when they gave me this quote.

Re: Ultimate Newb Questions =/

i'm 24/m but have a simlilar car, no mods, only had liscence in feb, have pass plus and drive a '99 plate 1.2 60s!

My insurance is £660 approx with www.screentrade.co.uk who are a broker and give my insurance company NIG options the cheapest quotes, and other comapnies quotes £3000!!!!

My old instructor told me of a lad your age who had an identical mod spec on a feista - £2000 without and £900 with pass plus.

Then again, no-one can tell you on here, best you can get is a rough calculation based on the average - Anything from £8/900 to £3000. In saying that someone will probably prove me wrong!!

As stated, best toring loads up, tell them you have pass plus and see what you get, try the old "it's ok, ive got it cheaper elsewhere" doesn't always work but can at times.
