(G) Jack???

Anybody know how to put the jack back into the spare wheel thing in the boot as mine is currently just rocking about in the boot lol, any help with my jack would be great

lol the old mk2 jack back into the housing question.

that jack is a right swine to get back in but it can be done, threw trial and error. i normally open it up so its a sort of square when you look down on it. if you look at the plastic tray there is a small mark on one of the open bits to indicat were teh top of teh jack goes. make sure you have that on there. then its a case of screwing the jack in or out till it goes in.

sounds like the securing jack into place on cinqs task, nigh on impossible but doable

as long as yours isn't bent as hell like ours it just takes a bit of effort. if after 20 mins it still wont go in it's safe to assume it's knackered!!!
