(G) what is the chance of a cd palyer in a mark 2 basic punto

hi i have finally decided that i will be going for a mark 2 punto but what are the chances of getting a cd player in a basic model??

dont know, but buy one for £50 and fit it

you won't get one in a basic model unless its aftermarket fitted. is not having a cd player already fitted gonna stop you from buying the car then?

my girlfriend just bought a mk2 sporting and she didnt even get a cd player in that. its gonna cost you about 13 quid for an adaptor plate and about 5 minutes of your time to fit. a good website to find some nice cheap cd players is http://www.dabs.com/uk

what cd player would u recommend??? i think my buget would be about £130- to 150

im not really too clued up on stereos to be honest,you should ask in the ice section. the makes i stick to when it comes to stereos are kenwood and pioneer.

Don't know if the basic Mk2s (later called Active's) can control a CD-Changer. My ELX can, so I had one fitted. Easier to change CDs when on the move, although I'm limited to a pre-defined choice of 10...

You could even get a Punto CD player from ebay, say from a higher model.

You see lots, from people whove bought aftermarket CD players. Like this:

You can even get a Punto CD and Sat Nav unit, they come up on ebay occasionally.

lol. The system must be flawed- I dont think Skoda drivers are allowed it anymore
