Have already cleaned Abu of the engine bay

Superb. I have set of GT wheels, rear subframe and disc brake conversion parts if you fancy putting a bigger turbo on there.

Welcome back CFREITAS, i must say i have never even seen a deisel mk1 (other than some driving past me out on the road). But a mk1 Punto is a mk1 Punto and thus awesome

I'll be honest I hated the idea of a diesel

But now I think I've been converted

But have already put my Marea wheel and to my supeise the Don't rub

That's a little more than I was getting out of my Sporting 1.6

Sorry Mod's I was making a suggestion should the thought of fitting a bigger turbo, intercooler and such came to mind. I'd upgrade the brakes and suspension first.

I rolled my 205 GTi rally car and finished the season with a 205TD that had the turbo from a 2.3 Peugeot van. It was only a few seconds off the GTi pace.

A Punto 1.7TD could in theory be able to keep up with a Sporting or even a GT.

Keeping the engine standard because it's 182,000 miles

I do have an alternative motive. The 1.7td is a genII 128 block and would in theory fit an X1/9

With silly torque and reasonable bhp it would make an interesting sports car.

you can see right through that old rad, did it leak?

just looks like the fins have corroded - changed few like this in my time but none of them leaked. Just slot less cooling capacity than a new properly finned one.

Here is a pic of my old GT rad, fins appear to still be there but just crumbled to dust when you touched them lol
