It didnt leak but , didn't cool the car either .......anything over 35mph and she would start to over heat


Have filled her with waterless coolant just to try it
Seems to have gone the other way now won't heat up bugger

As for the room for intercooler ive got an intercooler from my Marea and will be trialling it on the punto
 
normal coolant is less effective at cooling that straight water yes, the coolant we use generally is just a rust inhibitor and to stop the water from freezing.

But you can buy purpose made waterless coolant which is designed to not be diluted - i never really done much reading on the topic but i know Evans is the biggest manufacturer of the stuff. http://www.evanscoolants.co.uk/

It sits on the wheels from one of my Marea Weekends
Had abit off a face lift with clear indicators
GT twin reflector headlight with h1 HID main beam
Had a new Rad, Fan and thermostat
New rocker gasket
Cleaned Turbo

Bad bits
Some rot underneathe
Rear driver quarter need laquering
Gearbox crutches from 3rd to 2nd
