Has anyone added any audible or visual (ie. flashing indicators) notifications to their standard remote central locking? The actual un/locking of the vehicle seems to be delayed from pressing the button and rather than stand there for a second to see if I can hear/see the locks move, I'd like to add either an audible bleeper or connect the RCL to the indicators so that they flash when un/locking.

I haven't done this; but if you check the voltage of the supply to the locking mechanism you might be able to bridge it to the car horn for an audible note when it locks.

Apparently the alarm beeps when the cars is locked/unlocked but I have it switched off at the moment as the button on one of the keys is stuck so would never be able to arm/disarm it.

for indicators to flash when locking/unlocking you need to connect your remote locking kit with car pink wire

its not a kit mate, GT has factory remote locking
