Update:
I got someone who managed to start the car but excessive smoke came from the exhaust pipe ( white ) and too many oil from the engine
He told me the that the electricity is fine and i have a major engine problem

What do you think i may have that make the car suddenly stop like this

I would also say headgasket.
White smoke and no start condition is consistent with coolant in the cylinders and low compression.
I thought you let your friend drive? That could be your headgasket gone.

how can this be fixed ? is it easy ? take time ?




and what is the cause ? he asked me if the engine was on 3 cylinders only I don't know really but is this may be a cause ?

Headgasket on punto mk1 1.1 or 1.2 8v engine is one of the easiest headgasket job you can do compared to any other car. But is still hard to do if you not familiar.
Still you need to confirm you have a headgasket problem 100% before you will attempt to do it.
Being easy to do a garage should not charge too much to do this job for you.
 
Till that moment i am stuck with a local garage who's trying to fix the engine but i have a big dout that this isn't the cause !!
He found the one piston is melted with the compression rings and the others is somehow good
Is this piston can stop tge car like this ?

I'm just afraid that after all this money and time the car still not turn on


Dave, can you please tell me about the earth cables in mk1 cars ?

I know the one that's fixed to the gearbox and goes to the negative of the battery

Where the other one you mentioned that is fixed to the rear of the engine?

Also when i was cranking the engine the rpm gauge was moving from 0 to 5 in a shacking manner coinciding with the engine sound !

This came to my mind as i remebered that while im trying to crank the engine the negative cable of the battery become hot ! Is that make sense?!

Please help me with these questions as i am getting mad

Can a bad ignition switch crank the engine but not starting it ?

Can one bad piston make such situation , or can low compression in just one cylinder make this ?

What cause the rpm needle to shake from 0 to 5 to 0 again repeatedly and quickly while cranking !?

Sorry but really need any help
 
Thank you but you didn't tell me is one bad piston prevent the engine from starting

Also the rpm needle issues i mentioned.

Hi,
clouds of oily smoke out of exhaust can ONLY be due to engine wear ;)

the flickering rev counter is because it's meeting different levels of compression due to faulty piston / rings,

let us know how it goes tomorrow,

some one told me that my key don't have a chip so I must remove the immobilizer fault from the my douts .

My car is now on the road again :)

Work very smooth and powerful now after the new engine
