In the last 2 days I have blown 2 x 10 amp fuses.its the one for indicators,Speedo and fuel gauge.within 1 minute of setting off the damn thing blows again.anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
Dunno if its connected but the 15 amp Services fuse blew the other day as well.
And the Radio seems too always work whatever fuse goes
so dont think its that.and besides it was fine all the way back from Telford..good 2 hour drive with radio up full wack and no fuses blew then. its only started happening in the last couple of days. I thought at first my new LED dashlight bulbs might be responsible but the fuse blows even when the dash lights are off:( and they remain lit even after the fuse goes.as do the sidelights, headlights, radio, interior light
kinda stuck for ideas...only just got the car back too after spending 270 quid on a a new clutch for it so kinda annoyed with it right now.really dont wanna spend more money on it so soon.lol

well I just had a word with the guy at the the garage next door and he said try putting a 15 amp in instead of the 10. so I did and it seems ok for now,ran with indicaters, lights, high beam, low beam e.t.c for a good 15 min and fuse didnt even get warm.usually it blows within a minute of starting the engine. will find out for sure when i drive too work later.lol

You have a problem which needs sorting. The 10 amp fuses are blowing for a reason. Putting a fuse rated 50% higher than original will not solve the problem, it will just maintain the current to the faulty component or connection and may well lead to further problems such as a fire. The fuse will not get warm, as that is no longer the weakest part of the circuit.

NEVER replace a fuse with a higher rated fuse.

Get the problem resolved before you lose your car and don't use the garage next door!

Ty for your input guys but I spent an hour looking for images of Fuseboxes for my car and all of them seem to have a 15 amp fuse in the Services slot. I think that the 10 amp one was the incorrect fuse to start off with.lol
heres one of the images off the fusebox for my car

This has 15a in the Services slot and the rest match up to my car:)
So will leave it for now and see how it goes.:)

This was taken after i pliered the bulb out cos it was rusted solid.
I cut out the Rusted piece too so now I have only 1 fog light and 1 brake light untill my new cluster arrives:)but thats better than no indicaters, brake lights, fuel gauge and speedo.lol and both my tail lights, indicaters work so I guess will risk getting a producer for now and the new cluster should be here in a couple of days:)
