Hi, I've been a member here for a while, but not posted since I sold my Doblo a couple of years ago.

Just bought a TD SX 3dr Punto (for the grand sum of £150 with 4 months MOT) and it's got a couple of issues, the manual sunroof needs a new winder (anybody got one?), it doesn't heat up much (thermostat?), the illumination for the heater controls don't work, the rear wiper doesn't either, and the manifold gasket is blowing a bit, also there is a screeching noise when on boost under heavy throttle loading, are these linked? Oh and the gearbox whines in 2nd and 4th, despite that I'm happy with it and get 51mpg on my commute.

that low consumption with probably stuck open thermostat? if temp isnt near middle on temp gauge your thermostat is bad

Yep, can confirm 51mpg, 330 (532km) miles on 29.62 litres

^ check over the pipe work to turbo, look for holes/splits
also make sure jubilee clips are good and tight,
