did anyone try if a bluetooth obd2 interface (HHOBD Torque Android Bluetooth OBD2 Diagnostic Scanner Tester Interface Adapter)

or this

(ELM327 Car OBD OBD2 OBDII Wireless Bluetooth Diagnostic code reader Sanner Tool)

works with this (FIAT 3 Pin OBD to 16 Pin OBD2 II) through android phone on a mk1?

can't say i have tried but i think your issue will be getting an android ap that will work. to read the ecu on these people generally use IAW-Scan or MultiECUScan.

Look at the 3pin to OBD converter just as a way to connect it to a device, its doesn't make convert the 3pin to an OBDII language (or is protocol the right word?) - that make sense??
 
I recently got the elm 327, had it connected to my freinds van breifly and cleared fault codes for his egr valve,

was fairly impressed with it for the price but would like too play around with a standard code reader more too see if the ipad app is as good for testing components as a standard reader

I was using dash command havent tried any of the other apps yet
