(G) Punto 75 SX Suspension advice

first post,bin lurking for a while and thought i'd register.
ive had my punto 75sx for about 4 months, now ..the suspension on this car is piss poor and that is a known fact but is there any way i can improve the ride quality. my mechanic did say that my shocks were leaking so obviously i'll need to change that but at the same time i want to drive without feeling like im on an oxcart. my budget is roughly 200 pounds the car has stock suspension and shocks. what suspension kits can i buy or a combination of parts to just make my car ride smooth(not expectiing miracles!!!) your input will be much appreciated

i have seen a few full suspension kits for around £250 thats performance shocks and lowering springs but they will make the ride stiffer so i dont know if that will suit you try ebay first you might see some bargains on there
