(G) subs under the front seats? MK2

hey punto lovers.

i recently had a great plan to put a sub under the drivers seat. After measuring the space i had, it came up about 85mm...not much at all.

After seeing some 8" subs on the net measuring 110mm in depth im eager to fit one under. The main question is: can i jack up the seat a few centimetres, to fit a sub under? Some kind of spacer im thinkin on the seat bolts.

Any help would b appreciated, would b great to do it.

P.s i have a 2001 ELX , with the crazy lever on the drivers seat , which makes it go up n down.

Is it a 3 door?

Would you really want to do that? Raise the seat height, I mean? I don't know if it's even possible, but the seating position is ultra high as it is.

Perhaps you would be better off with some kind of passenger footwell build. It's possible, but I don't know how much or where from!

One under each front seat. You can get them cheaper from MCS i think
