Key Snappage

Hi,
I have a punto problem that I have only become aware of now that I have snapped my key(!) When I bought the car it came with no master key, Fiat have told me that there is no way to get a copy without the master. I have had a new (transponderless) key cut and am using the transponder in the old blue bit of key that I have, but this is hardly a long term solution. Does anybody know of a way to get a new key complete with transponder without possesing the master key?
Please.

There is no way. Fiat will need to order a master key for you. Be prepared to pay a few hundred for it.

you can get your key cloned, aparenty timpsons do it. or try yellow pages ring around auto locksmiths and key cutters theres bound to be one in your area. if not post back i have some phone numbers of people but you will have to send them your key by recorded delivery that means no key for a few days, unless you live near them that is.

Well, he has a key which fits, and a the working body of the broken key... so if they cut using the standard grinder arrangement, and clone as a separate job, it should be OK.
