Fog Light Wiring... Help needed

Is is possible for the foglights to come on automatically with the Main Beam, but also able to come on independently via the switch? I have done a small diagram of possible wiring (see attached) it is in a Mk1 Punto 60S, which didnt come with fogs fitted, but i am fitting some

Any help would be appreciated

excuse the paint skills lol...

Re: Fog Light Wiring... Help needed

basically you want the main beams to 'trip' the relay on but also a live running through a dash switch to switch the foglights on independently, yes?
easiest way would be to run your main power to the relay and earth it as normal. then run your signal wire from the main beam lights plus a switched live(ignition live would be better) to turn them on independently.
one thing i would say is if its so foggy you need the fog lights on then you most likely wont want the main beams on as it will just flare up in front of you.

Yes, i want to use them like driving lights, so they dont blind oncoming traffic, so only have to turn one thing off, but also want the functionality of fogs... ie not just on main beam
